Lilit Grotjahn
Project Manager
Lilit holds an LLM in International and Transnational Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam and a previous Master's degree in Human Rights from Sciences Po Paris.
Particularly interested in the documentation and analysis of violations of international criminal law and human rights, especially conflict-related sexual violence, she is one of the founding members of an organization working with women leaders for transitional justice. She is interested in various approaches to evidence collection, having completed training in open-source investigations to understand how they can be used to detect and document conflict-related sexual violence.
Lilit joined WWoW in October 2023. She oversees the project in Ukraine, supports WWoW's advocacy efforts, and was part of the team responsible for organizing France's side event at the 68th Commission on the Status of Women. She also supports documentation work concerning the events of October 7 in Israel.
